What is a meal subscription company?

Once you sign up for Prairie Box, your subscription renews weekly, saving you time and giving you the peace of mind, knowing that your meals are taken care of. The menu changes each week, so you won't have to worry about variety!

How do I select my meals?

Simply click on the "Get Started" link in our menu, pick the number of meals you want and create an account with us. Once that's done, you'll start receiving your Prairie Box that Sunday.

Do you offer vegetarian?

Yes! Every week we create a vegetarian meal to go with your Prairie Box. Let us know at info@prairiebox.com how many vegetarian meals you'd like this week and we will make sure and get it to you.

Do I get all my meals at once?

Yes. We deliver all of the meals on Sunday afternoon and the area of town you're in will determine when your meals are delivered. Please be at the door, as we are delivering perishable food and would hate to see it go to waste. If you won't be around at that time, please let us know at info@prairiebox.com

Can I refer a friend or colleague?

Yes! If you refer a friend or colleague, have them use the coupon code PBreferral. This will give them 25% off of their order, and if they tell us who referred them, we'll give you 25% off as well!

I won't be home for my delivery. What should I do?

We understand that you lead a busy life. That's why you chose Prairie Box! If you won't be home to receive your delivery, please let us know at info@prairiebox.com and arrange either an alternate dropoff location, or you can also leave a cooler by your door for us to drop your food off into. We're working on getting a pickup location, so expect to see that soon!

What if I need to pause my account for the week?

It's easy to pause your subscription for a week! If you won't need meals that week, simply sign into the account that you've created with us and click the link that says "Manage Subscriptions".

From there, you'll see a drop-down menu beside your current subscription. Choose "Upcoming Orders". You'll see a list of when your next order will be, and you can skip as many weeks as you need without cancelling your account.

NOTE: Make sure that you skip the order that comes out the Thursday BEFORE the Sunday delivery. If you need to skip Sunday, May 8th, make sure you skip the order on or before Thursday, May 5th.

When do I need to have my orders in for the week?

Orders must be placed by 5PM on the Thursday before our Sunday delivery day. For example, if you want your meals on Sunday, May 8th, you need to order by 5:00 Thursday, May 5th.

What is your refund policy?

As our product is fresh, we are unable to offer refunds or cancellations the Thursday before delivery day or later, as that's when we place our food order.

Can I get Prairie Box for my office?

Yes! If you want to order meals for your office lunch, email info@prairiebox.com and let's discuss how we can get your office fed.

Is my banking information safe?

Yes. Our systems use SSL security, the same as the banks use. 

Do you do custom meals?

Our chefs create each meal from scratch, and aren't able to accommodate individual meals. This allows us to give you meals with handmade quality at an affordable price. We do try to avoid dietary restrictions by not using shellfish, peanuts and limiting the amount of dairy we use.

How long can I store my meals?

We recommend eating your meals within 5 days of receiving them. That's why we deliver on Sundays, to set you up for a busy week. You can also freeze your meals. They freeze beautifully if you won't be able to eat them in time.

When will my meal arrive?

 Our delivery window is Sunday, between noon and 4PM.

I didn't receive my box, what do I do?

If you missed your delivery for whatever reason, let us know within 24 hours and we will make sure it gets replaced.
